Things to Do in Blytheville, AR (November 2026)

Blytheville is one of the two county seats of Mississippi County, sitting in the flat farm country of the Arkansas Delta just off Interstate 55, a few miles south of the Missouri line and west of the Mississippi River. The town grew from lumber and cotton, was shaped for decades by Blytheville Air Force Base, and today is home to a large Nucor steel operation. Visitors come for the restored downtown along Main Street, including an Art Moderne Greyhound station and the Ritz, plus bird-rich wetlands at nearby Big Lake.
