Questions
- Does it cost anything?
- No. The widget is free for any website, and listing events on the calendar is free too.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Copy the snippet and paste it. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to install.
- How often does it update?
- Every night. The calendar gathers events from local calendars overnight, and the widget shows the next 10 on its own; you never have to touch it again.
- What is the link under the frame?
- It takes your visitors to the full calendar for your town, with every event, not just the next 10. Please keep it: it is part of the snippet, and it’s how people find this free calendar.
- Will it slow down my site or track my visitors?
- No. It is a small page in a frame that loads only when it scrolls into view. It runs no scripts and sets no cookies, on your site or in the frame.
- Can I change its size or colours?
- Change
height="600"in the snippet to make it taller or shorter; the list scrolls inside. It fits any width from a narrow sidebar up. It shows light or dark to match each visitor’s own setting. - Our events aren’t on it. How do we get them listed?
- Submit an event, or email [email protected] with a link to your own calendar and we’ll look at adding it to the ones we read every night.
